Southwark Register Office is one of South London's most charming venues for an intimate civil wedding. Tucked away on Peckham Road in Camberwell, it combines elegant period interiors with a beautiful private garden, making it an excellent choice for couples looking for relaxed, natural wedding photography, with an easy flow. It's easy to reach by public transport, with frequent bus routes and both Oval and Kennington Underground stations within easy reach.

I've photographed weddings at Southwark Register Office in the lovely Garden Room, where large windows fill the space with natural light and overlook the peaceful gardens. After the ceremony, there's no need to travel elsewhere for portraits or group photographs – the secluded garden provides a beautiful backdrop for relaxed couple portraits, family groups and those all-important confetti moments, all just steps from the ceremony room.
