West End Wedding Magic: A Theatrical Celebration of Love

I met West End stage performers Shani and Scott at the begining of 2024 when they were planning their wedding. Meeting downstairs in the legendary Phoenix Arts Club on Phoenix Street, where they regularly work and perform, I couldn’t help but share in their enthusiasm and excitement at all the things they had planned. Little did I know the extent of the theatrical treat to which I was to be a part of.. (scroll down to find out!)

St Giles in the Fields Church

The day started like most other weddings - preparations, nerves, emotional family reunions. Scott got ready at The Phoenix Arts Club and Shani in a private room within the church grounds. St Giles-in-the-Fields Church, nestled in the heart of central London (just off Tottenham Court Road). This Grade I listed Anglican church, rebuilt in the 18th century in Palladian style by architect Henry Flitcroft, features soaring ceilings, grand columns, and a breathtaking stained-glass window, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere for your ceremony. With seating for up to 250 guests, it accommodates both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. St Giles-in-the-Fields combines historic charm with modern convenience, making it a perfect choice for couples seeking a unique and memorable wedding venue in central London.

Then bubbles instead of confetti and a procession through town like no other!! The incredible Oompah band leading the way..
