Shooting wedding receptions in Aes Ambelis winery is a bit of a dream. Having shot a few when I lived in Cyprus it was incredible to return in the Spring of 2024 to shoot Francesca and Nicholas’ wedding party. With sweeping views of the surrounding hills and a vineyard to boot - Aes Ambelis is a popular choice for stylish couples who love a magical outdoor setting coupled with a fantastic selection of wines. Aes Ambelis is located approx 28km south of capital Nicosia and rests on the slopes of Kalo Chorio Orinis.
The entrance to Aes Ambelis Winery is lined with Cypress trees and the vineyard so you dont have far to go for your couples shoot. Moments away, closer to the actual winery, there is a large open space that can comfortably seat several hundred guests, plus a stage area for your DJ/live musicians and dancefloor.

Alex Christening Day | St Mary's Greek Orthodox Church | The Penridge Suite | London
Baby Alex accompanied by his Godparents, older brother and Mum and Dad was christened at the beautiful St Mary’s Orthodox Church on Trinity Road in North London. As it was also his Dad’s 40th birthday a double celebration was in order - and the family partied the night away with their friends and family at popular North London venue The Penridge Suite. Mimi and Harry's Cyprus Wedding | Aelia Wellness Resort | TSERI | Cyprus
Mimi and Harry are a super likeable couple and were an absolute joy to work with. I knew the first time met them that they were the ideal couple for me. A truly international, well-travelled couple and DEFINITELY not a fan of posed pictures, they gave me free rain to capture the day as it unfolded. Their friends and family (who had literally travelled from EVERYWHERE to be there) joined them to share in the love and magic, and a night of fun, laughter and total CRAZINESS. Check out the gorgeous decor at one of my favourite venues, Aelia, (which the team at The Event Co crafted so perfectly) and the party shenanigans going on well into the night. And as a Nicosia wedding photographer on my doorstep! A wedding I’ll never forget.

I LOVE shooting weddings and Christenings at Penera Beach Hotel. Overlooking the sea with a lovely grassed area for outdoor events or just to let the kids play on it is a popular choice with foreigners as it is with the locals especially Nicosians - who are looking for that beach vibe event.
