St Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church Christening Photographer | Friern Barnet
I’ve been asked a few times to be a Christening Photographer at the beautiful Greek Orthodox Church of St Katherine in North London. And tucked away in a leafy suburb of Barnet it’s a joy to visit.
Originally known as St James the Great Church (formally a Church of England Church) it sits on Friern Barnet Lane and Friary Road. It’s Norman character retains much of its history. The rector Damian Konstantinou is very pleasant and conducts baptisms in a relaxed and friendly manner. Services can be conducted in Greek and/or English, depending on your preference, making it accessible to both Greek-speaking families and those new to the Orthodox faith.
Parents often choose St Katherine’s not only for its spiritual depth but also for its sense of community. From the first steps of planning your baby’s baptism, you’ll feel embraced by a congregation that values family, faith, and tradition.
