Wedding Photography at The Bedford Pub | Balham

As a local wedding photographer it was an absolute joy to shoot my first wedding party in The Bedford Pub! A local institution and a fab backdrop for any wedding photography or party. Caroline and Goncalo have roots in Scotland and Portugal respectively, so you can imagine we were all in for an absolute treat at this one, with the most fun-loving guests, a ceilidh band and a DJ to see everyone through dancing til 1am. Champagne, the tastiest Portugese red wine (if ONLY I could remember the name!!) and birthday cake ON top of an incredible three-course meal (hats off to the chefs at The Bedford) were also several of the many highlights of the day.

Mike and Flo | The County Arms Pub Wedding Photography

Standing on the edge of Wandsworth Common stands the historic Victorian pub The County Arms. The pub dates back to 1852 and has various spaces inside tailored to events of all kinds. Weddings are particularly expertly catered for with a choice of two rooms and a large garden. Perfect for your pre-dinner alfresco celebrations.

Following their wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall, Mike and Flo and their guests arrived at The County Arms in style - hiring a popular Routemaster bus! On arrival the couple and their guests mingled in a sectioned off part of the garden (weather was amazing thankfully!) where I was able to capture some natural and fun wedding photography..

Pubs typically offer a more intimate setting than a traditional wedding venue. They are more laid-back and can make the day feel more personal and less formal. I’ve photographed couples at pubs where they had their first date. Making their wedding photography even more extra-special. The Roebuck could well be one of Borough’s best kept secrets. Independently owned and loved by the locals, The Roebuck offers a broad selection of beers and ales from around the world, a freshly prepared menu full of locally sourced produce, and an easy going friendly vibe.

Pangdean Old Barn Wedding Photography | Pangdean Old Barn | Pyecombe | Sussex

Pangdean Old Barn is located in the lush countryside of the South Downs in a one thousand acre working farm in Pyecombe. Conveniently located near Brighton, it is easily accessible and yet retains the remote, countryside feel. Its main attraction for couples getting married is its 18th century barn. Built in 1720, Pangdean Old Barn has been lovingly restored to offer a unique wedding or function venue and is THE perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.

In fact the entire venue is amazing for your wedding photography. My couple Xanthe and Alessandro wanted their wedding photography to have a relaxed natural feel - and photography that reflected the absolute gorgeousness of this beautiful wedding venue.

Xanthe was able to make use of the owners house (The Old Farmhouse) next to the venue, to get ready in, and to hide as Alessandro and all the guests started arriving! As a wedding photographer I ADORE period properties and its convenience to the venue meant I could sneek in and get some intimate moments of the bride and her bridal party.

Lauren and Tom married in their local Catholic Church but opted for a wedding photoshoot within the grounds of Chiswick House. Chiswick House and Gardens is known for its beautiful gardens, scenic views and historic architecture. It provides an excellent romantic and picturesque backdrop for your wedding photography.

Chiswick House is a neo-palladian style house in the Chiswick district of West London. A beautiful example of neo-palladian architecture, the house was designed and built by Richard Boyle (1694–1753), and completed in 1729. This is the view from the forecourt of Chiswick House.
